The primary weapon on the space turret, such as a machine gun or cannon that shoots energy, has unlimited bullets but each shot deducts a score point. Secondary weapons, like the missile launcher, have limited ammunition, requiring strategic usage during gameplay. To add a layer of challenge, the primary weapon can overheat during intense firing, which is indicated by a temperature gauge beneath the ammo counter.

The game features two distinct modes: Gunner Campaign and Gunner Survival, each offering 32 levels to keep players engaged. The Lite version grants access to the initial 8 levels in Campaign mode and 8 levels in Survival mode.
